Ball is the leading independent plant breeder, producer and wholesale distributor of ornamental plant products for the worldwide market, with 3300 employees around the globe; 500 in the US.  Mike joined Ball in 1999.   Mike’s leads the human resources function for the Ball group of companies.

Prior to joining Ball, Mike spent about 20 years in the retail industry, primarily in Midwest regional department store chains including Marshall Field’s in Chicago and Kohl’s in Milwaukee.  Mike’s last assignment prior to joining Ball was Divisional HR VP with Home Depot in their Midwest territory.

Mike holds a Bachelor Business Administration degree in Marketing from Western Michigan University.
